U.S. Experience Sonali focuses her practice on estate planning. In particular, she assists with the preparation of diverse estate plans for individuals and families, document drafting, coordinating with clients, and handles estate planning signings, title recordings, trust funding, and closing and post-closing tasks. Sonali previously worked at a couple of Bay Area law firms where her practice focused on corporate and litigation matters, and personal injury cases. International Experience Before relocating to the US, Sonali worked as a senior associate at a leading law firm in India where she focused on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, white-collar crimes, and high-profile money laundering cases. Accomplishments She was rated as a top performer for three consecutive years (2018-2020) and was nominated for the firm's 5th Annual '40 Under 40 Rising Star Awards 2020' at her prior Indian law firm. Sonali is an alumnus of the UC Berkeley School of Law where she was a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal serving as a podcast speaker and researcher. For leisure, Sonali loves to travel, read, and practice yoga. |
