Overview of frequently asked questions from IndUS Store users
What are 'categories' and 'products'?

Categories are areas or topics by which we have classified all IndUS Store products based on commonly used search terms. Products are either specific contracts or legal services that are availabe for purchase on IndUS Store.

How do I purchase a product?

To complete your purchase, you may either directly go to our payment portal or click the 'buy now' button at the bottom of the product page. On the portal, please enter the full list price of the product in the 'amount' field, enter the product name in the 'reference' field, complete all billing information and card information, and then submit your payment. You will instantly get an email notification and a purchase receipt.

What happens after I pay for a product? Why did I not receive my contract or service?

Once payment is processed, we will promptly email you a questionnaire to gather relevant information from you to enable us prepare your custom contract or complete the service, as applicable. After we receive your completed questionnaire, we will send you the finalized custom contract within three business days or will commence your service within that time and will complete it expeditiously.

What are your turnaround times?

We will send you a questionnaire promptly if your payment is received during normal business hours on the U.S West Coast but no later than four hours under any circumstances. The completed contract will be sent within three business days of receipt of your completed questionnaire. Turnaround times for legal service will depend on the nature of the service although we will commence it within that period and will complete it in a reasonable period unless you ask for an expedited service.

Will I incur any additional charges for expedited turnaround?

Expedited turnaround may incur additional fees and expenses based on the nature of your request and the expected turnaround time. Typically, expedited filing fees and third party charges require payment of premium fees. We will let you know in advance such fees and new turnaround times.

Will I be required to sign an engagement letter with IndUS Counsel?

If the product you purchase is listed for less than $1,000 and there is no reasonable likelihood that we will charge fees totaling $1,000 or more for that product, we will not need a separate engagement letter. In such a case, the Terms of Sale, these FAQs and other terms and conditions mentioned on IndUS Store and elsewhere on this web site will govern our engagement. All products listed for $1,000 or more, or where our fees will likely range in those amounts, we will promptly send you a separate engagement letter for your review and electronic signature as mandated by the State Bar of California regulations governing law firms.
